Our first Naval wedding, both the Groom and bride in white, Shawn looked very dashing in his uniform with Emma complimenting him beautifully in her glorious dress. The ceremony happened on board the SAS Amatola, one of the new frigates, and after our initial apprehension about the coldness of a warship, we were very happy with the way the photographs came out, just shows what happens when love abounds.
We had great plans for shooting in the dock yard, having scouted it three times for the perfect spots, as we were to have free reign throughout the dockyard.
So we were very wired for some absolutely stunning and different shots, however mother nature wasn't playing with, and we were faced with Gale force winds that completely ruled out any shots there.
Never the less, Emma being the clever lady she is, had organized the reception to be in Stellenbosch, and while it was on the other side of the world, it was perfect, Cape Town isn't known as the city with many different climates all wrapped into one for nothing, and the weather out in Stellenbosch was perfect.
Shawn and Emma, your wedding your reception was truly awesome, and I echo the guests, one of the best, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of this day and to capture those special memories.
